How do I enable private networking for my Blaze PAYG?

To make it easier to get in touch with us, from the 24th of March 2016 all support tickets will need to be submitted from your Crucial Control Panel.

To enable private networking for a Blaze pay as you go (PAYG) service you will need to use the Crucial Control Panel, to do this complete the following steps.

  1. Login to the Crucial Control Panel
  2. Once logged in, under 'My Services' select the PAYG service you wish to change

  3. Underneath 'Service Details' click on 'Enable Private Networking'
    (Picture shows 'Disable')

  4. Select 'Ok'

You will now be able to add private networks in the Cloud Management, to verify this complete the following steps from the PAYG service in the Crucial Control Panel.

  1. Click on 'PAYG Cloud Management'

  2. Select 'Virtual Servers' on the left hand menu under 'Appliances'

  3. Click on the server you wish to use to verify the change
  4. Select 'Networking' in the top menu and click 'Network Interfaces'

  5. Click 'Add New Network Interface'

  6. Choose a name or label for the new interface
  7. Select 'Shared Private Network' from the list of interfaces

  8. Choose a Port Speed
  9. Click 'Submit'

If you are not seeing 'Shared Private Network' as an option, make sure you do not already have a Shared Private Network interface
