How do I add a Dedicate IP to my Web-Hosting account?

To make it easier to get in touch with us, from the 24th of March 2016 all support tickets will need to be submitted from your Crucial Control Panel.

Our current website and reseller hosting packages do not require a dedicated IP for SSL as they fully supports Server Name Indication (SNI), which allows SSL to work without the need for a dedicated IP.

This article will explain how to add a dedicated IP to a Legacy Web-Hosting Account.

The dedicated IP is only available for those customers on a Business Web Hosting package or higher. If you are on a SOHO package you will need to upgrade.

If you are on a legacy web hosting account and you need an IP for your SSL certificate you will need to contact Technical Support and submit a ticket to our Customer Service team.

If you need a dedicated IP for an SSL Certificate please contact the Sales team and they can assist with a range of options.
