How do I toggle Registrar Lock for my domain?

The registrar lock will prevent you from making any changes to a domain name, such as nameserver updates.

If you are having trouble updating your nameservers with us, or making any changes to your domain such as transferring or updating contact details, you will need to disable the registrar lock before continuing.

To check the status and toggle the registrar lock, simply follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Crucial Control Panel and click on My Domains
  2. Select your domain name on that page

  3. Under the Transfer Domain box, you'll see a switch for your Registrar Lock, click this to toggle the lock status:

You will now be able to make changes to your domain, we recommend making sure you enable Registrar Lock after you have made the changes.
