Transfer Legal Ownership of a Domain



To change the legal ownership of a .au domain, or update the ABN/ACN/BN number attached to the registrant, an additional form needs to be completed and forwarded to the AUDA. This process also incurs an additional fee of $99 which is payable prior to the forms being lodged by us to the AUDA.



Step 1 - Log into your Client Area and click on Order New Services.

Step 2 - Select One-time Products and then Change-of-Registrant.

Step 3 - (1) Enter in your  Domain and then (2) Continue with the payment process

Step 4 - Once payment is complete, fill out this form.

This needs to be completed by the current domain name owner, and also accompanied by either;
A) Company letterhead
B) ABN/ACN documentation
C) Photo ID


Step 5 - Send the forms and identification to our Billing Team via a Support Ticket.


Once received, our Billing Team will review the information and process the order.
